Hours Before the show to secure a really good spot on the floor/pit and as time went on VIP Member’s started getting there and I was completely blown away of the amount of people in VIP! Next time around maybe 70 to 90i in VIP would be reasonable but definitely not over 200 like there was at this last show. I was only about maybe the 12th person in line for GA and I had gotten to the venue to get in line 6 For guests who weren't disorderly or ruining the 'public peace', we were mistreated, any other person in there could see we were functioning fine.It was a great concert. They wouldnt even let us do that! We caused absolutely ZERO disruptions, even tipped generously, and paid for our entry, yet less then two hours into the event, we were denied re-entry. I'm not sure if it was a racial target but my friend and I ended up not being allowed back in, even after we had asked to just use the restroom and telling them we'd leave right after. Idk what standards are given but there were individuals in the club who were observably drunk and yet we were targeted. Given water under the guise we had to keep waiting. They kicked us out and we were 'waiting' outside for over an hour, no one checked on us until I had told the staff we had been waiting for an hour to be 'cleared'. Any over-age person knows this isn't enough to get you drunk or disorderly. A minimum for individuals in Europe.īe aware they flag you for having fun? Tonight, my friend and I had two drinks! Literally one shot and one mixed drink. I will not recommend anyone NOT to attend this venue - on the whole, having been to over 100 venues in the UK, Europe and the US it’s supportive of many different bands and alternative styles of music - but it’s security is very poor and obviously staffed by people who’re lacking in the required education to perform the role. We were forcibly asked to leave with no provocation and missed the last 20 minutes of the show. The ‘security’ team arrived and stated that both we and others where at fault and asked us to leave - the individuals blocking our view were nowhere to be seen. A sumner of people tried to sit or stand in that area both before and eventually during the show, until the ‘security’ team eventually stopped removing them.Ī persistent individual kept trying to stand in the area reserved for VIP seating and when asked to move, they refused - with zero aggression I asked them to move on and was supported by others, but they refused, My wife and I arrived two hours before RATT were due on stage and stood in front of the VIP area, upstairs. Having been a follower of RATT for over 25 years and knowing they rarely appear in Europe, if we’re ever in the US, I always try to take in a show - this has happened without issue, on five separate occasions until visiting Ace of Spades in Sacramento I'm truly upset with how the night ended, numerous guests were taken outside when any normal person would consider their behavior appropriate? Ace of Spades needs to properly explain the policies they are encouraging by taking away paying guests from experiences they hoped and paid for! For guests who weren't disorderly or ruining the 'public peace', we were mistreated, any other person in there could see we were functioning fine. Be aware they flag you for having fun? Tonight, my friend and I had two drinks! Literally one shot and one mixed drink.
